Partner & Principal Fund Manager
Nelson Ilham is the principal portfolio manager overseeing strategies and investment decisions for Artheon Global Credit Opportunities Fund. Prior to this, he was a Senior Director in Fixed Income at HSBC Private Banking with main responsibilities in formulating fixed income strategies and specific credit investments, rendering portfolio services to sophisticated institutions, family offices and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) investors, and providing thought leadership in HSBC’s regional and global investment committees. He previously served for more than 4 years as Director, Asia Head of Fixed Income Advisory and Trading at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)’s wealth management business and led initiatives in expanding fixed income investment services to institutions and accredited investors. He has over 20 years of financial markets experience in Asia and North America. He began his career as an equity trader in the US and subsequently broadened his finance and investment expertise through roles in principal securities trading, cross-assets structured product distribution, and fixed income portfolio services.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University and Bachelor of Business Administration degree with double majors in Finance and Information Systems from University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a citizen of Singapore.

Mr. Chan is an active investor and business partner in various private equity and venture capital investments, with more than 32 years of experience in the financial industry with senior leadership roles in various top-tier multinational banks.
Mr Chan was a Managing Director, Head of Business Development in 2015-2016 and Country Head of Indonesia in 2010-2014 at DBS Private Bank. Prior to that, Mr. Chan held leadership roles as a Managing Director/Senior Partner at Merrill Lynch, which he joined after serving as a Managing Director in Citi Private Bank. He started his banking career in 1987 and had since held client relationship and managerial positions in various international banks, such as Coutts, UBS, Standard Chartered, CIBC and Royal Bank of Canada.
With solid accomplishments throughout three decades, Mr Chan has deep expertise in wealth management, business strategies, financial regulations and audit controls.
Mr. Chan holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Peter D. Litvin is the CEO of Fortress Partners which provides independent governance and consultancy services to asset managers, advisory firms, family offices, onshore and offshore funds, and operating companies. Mr. Litvin is a regulated director, by the FCA in the UK, CIMA in the Cayman Islands and the DFSA / ADGM in the UAE.
Peter has over 25 years of experience managing the financial, risk and operational infrastructure of global alternative asset managers. He has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the corporate governance needs of these companies, funds and LP's, having worked with the leading global regulators, such as the UK’s FCA, Hong Kong’s SFC, the OCC in the US, and DFSA / ADGM in the UAE. His product knowledge is extensive and covers the whole alternative investments spectrum, including equities, bonds, derivatives, real estate, hedge funds, and private equity partnerships.
He spent over 14 years at Citigroup Alternative Investments (“CAI”). During 1999 to 2008, he was the CFO/COO & Managing Director of the Citigroup Alternative Investment Division in London and New York, a business with over US$100 billion of assets under management. He established and incorporated many of the funds and had responsibility for finance, risk, compliance and the operational infrastructure, including Head of Technology for CAI in Europe. In 1994-1997, he was Group Accountant of the CAI division and subsequently became a senior analyst on the fixed income desk.
From 2009 to 2014, Peter was the Chief Financial Officer of Samena Capital, a principal investment group with total capital commitments in excess of US$1 billion, with three regulated investment advisors based in London (FCA), Dubai (DFSA) and Hong Kong (SFC). Samena invested in multiple asset classes, including hedge funds and private equity partnerships.
Mr. Litvin is a qualified Management Accountant and spends his spare time with his family, keeping fit and working with schools and educational institutions.
Chairman of First Degree Global Asset Management (“FDGAM”)
Stephen co-founded FDGAM and was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Investment Officer upon its formation in 2011.
Stephen has 30 years’ experience as an investment professional with leading investment management groups in the United States, Asia and Australia. Formerly, the Head of Global Fixed Income Product – Asia Pacific at JPMorgan Asset Management, Stephen has also held the positions of Australian Head of Capital Markets Research and Asia Pacific Regional Head of Capital Markets Research at J.P. Morgan Investment Management, Inc.
Stephen’s particular areas of expertise have been in quantitative analysis and in reserves management of central banks. His research pieces on reserves management issues have been widely published in academic and industry journals.
Stephen holds a Master of Science (Finance) and a PhD (Finance) from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Rochester, New York and a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney.
Chief Executive Officer of First Degree Global Asset Management (“FDGAM”)
Tony Morgan co-founded FDGAM and was appointed as a Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Manager upon its formation in 2011.
Tony has 25 years’ experience in the management, operating and control functions of investment management businesses across the Asia Pacific Region, having held management roles with the JPMorgan Asset Management Group in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore. These roles included Chief Operating Officer and Head of Risk Management, South Asia, with management and operating responsibility for the Group’s businesses in Australia, India, Pakistan, Singapore and Thailand, and Head of Sovereign and Institutional Clients, South Asia.
Tony has a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Macquarie University, a Master of Laws and a Master of Taxation from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from the University of London. He has been admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
